These images represent some of our favorite galleries of Angel Orensanz wedding photos. The Angel is one of the most amazing places to get married in New York — or for that matter, nearly anywhere. We have worked with the event staff at the Angel and they are truly a pleasure to work with and they know how to produce an amazing experience for our clients.
The Foundation prides itself in maintaining the building at 172 Norfolk St., which is the former Ansche Chesed Synagogue dating from 1849. It’s mid 19th century architecture, combined with a sophisticated lighting system allow the space to be transformed almost instantaneously between ceremony and reception. The 2nd floor balcony is where we typically see cocktails take place while the ceremony space is transformed for dinner and the reception. In 2012/2013 the Angel also upgraded to a high end sound system.
The first time we photographed for our clients at the Angel, we scouted the location and we couldn’t believe it. It was even more amazing than the photos we had seen online — you truly have to see it for yourself. In the meantime, enjoy some of the highlights below.
