Back in the summer when I met Fatimah and Brian at San Francisco Roasting Company, I knew immediately I wanted to work with them. Their quiet demeanor belied a strong appreciation for connection – with family, with their friends and their community. Their love for each other is so readily apparent and sweet, its infectious! Plus it turns out they lived in my friend Hemu’s condo after he moved to New York — small world. Their wedding spanned 3 days, with their nikah at the Masjid on 14th street, followed by a private mendhi party and their reception at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens in Mershon Hall.
